This is a 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ101 VX. It is the turbo diesel, Japanese market version of the Landcruiser 100 series. Packed with a bunch of unique, market-specific features, and the splendid 1HD-FTE 4.2 Inline 6 Turbo diesel intercooled 24 valve engine mated to the rarely optioned 5 Speed manual H151 transmission, makes this rig a true pleasure to enjoy and own. This particular one is spec’d out quite nicely, with the factory slick top NON sunroof, interior extra plush factory cloth seats with manual adjustment + power lumbar support. It is a NON Nav and NON AHC truck, making it simple and fuss free in the long term. This is 1 of only 894 HDJ101 units built with a 5 speed manual. It also touts a factory rear Limited slip differential, an upgraded premium sound system and head unit, factory set of window visors, and a nice host of maintenance history. This was a 1 owner vehicle when we acquired it out of Japan in 2025.
