This is perhaps one of the penultimate 90s JDM Campers that was made, right up there with the Hilux Galaxy / Global Galaxy. This is a 1992 Toyota Hiace Tomboy motorhome. This is True Four Season Class C Coach, with the coach built by Bigfoot Industries, in Vernon BC Canada. These really are some of the best Class C’s made, ever. You can use them all year long in sub freezing temperatures, or super hot temps. This is what they were designed for. Using Bigfoot’s proprietary Fibercore Wall systems, it achieves an R12 Insulation value all around with 1 1/2 inch polyurethane injected walls and ceiling and a double floor system with an insulated basement, meaning your travels in this will not only be extremely warm in cold climates, or cool in hot climates, but it’s also very quiet on the inside. No other RVs achieve this level of insulation and craftsmanship. Fiberglass all around, with molded fiberglass front and rear caps. Molded fiberglass storage compartments all around on the exterior as well as Fiberglass running boards. On the inside it has a marine quality headliner with real solid wood cabinetry throughout. These Tomboys were the only example of a Bigfoot motorhome as mounted on a Toyota Chassis, as after this, they were all assembled on Ford chassis. Only a handful of these were assembled and sold in Japan, for the Japanese market only, perhaps less than 60. The Toyota Hiace truck chassis is powered by the venerable 2L 2.4 Liter diesel engine, the rock solid engine that Top Gear couldn’t kill. The same engine that powered many Hilux trucks throughout the 80s and 90s. Fully mechanical, and simple compared to modern electronic diesel. Mated to a 5 Speed manual transmission, this truck is part-time 4WD, meaning a hi and lo range transfer case, as well as manual locking AISIN front hubs – give you the most control over your terrain. Allowing you to operate in rear wheel drive to save economy, and engage 4×4 when the need arises.

The interior is textbook Bigfoot – solid wood cabinetry, durable and comfortable upholstery and cushions, and spacious to US standards. All north American appliances were used, meaning you can service, upgrade, and replace coach components easily. This motorhome has only had 1 owner prior and was meticulously kept as it includes all records, manuals, and even the original brochure from when it was new. It has always been stored indoors, and truly shows it. We have not seen another RV from 1992, let alone 2002 that looks this good. It sports its original gelcoat, and decals and they shine like new. Features includes 24 Gallons fresh water, 11 gallon grey water, and 11 gallon blank water tanks. Robust battery storage, with capacity for up to 3 coach batteries if desired. Additional Side exterior molded lockable fiberglass storage. Rear aluminum ladder for roof access. Skylight, 2 way Norcold fridge, In-line water pump, Forced air propane furnace, propane hot water heater, molded fiberglass wet bath with shower, toilet and vanity. Very large expandable overhead bed – expands to 72″x70″. Lower dinette, and couch that can all combine into one large bed on the first level, 65″x70″ in total. Original curtains, light fixtures, flooring, cabinetry throughout all in amazing condition.
