Here’s one of the rarest spec Hiaces out there! The LH129 is the longest and tallest factory Hiace, coming in at 16 feet 10 inches bumper to bumper, with an interior standing heigh of 5ft 2 inches. It’s the perfect and more utilitarian alternative to a Benz Sprinter, with an actual proper Hi and Lo speed transfer case, a simple, naturally aspirated DEF and DPF free diesel engine that chugs along at a happy 20-23 mpg. Being a commerical spec Hiace, this is powered by the stout Toyota 3L diesel engine mated to a 5 speed transmission which sends power to the rear wheels, and when 4×4 is engaged, all four wheels. It’s a Toyota factory ambulance with the standard trimmings, including a 3rd passenger jump seat, complete with seatbelt, and 2 jump benches in the back, with storage below, and above. All the rest of the space is left to your imagination, build whatever you’d like or use it as the ultimate shop / work rig. This has loads of cargo space!
