This Prado is equipped with the legendary 5VZ-FE 3.4L gasoline V6 engine, a simple, proven, and strong powerplant known for its longevity, easy servicing, and parts availability in the U.S. Sharing many components and engine / transmission with Toyota Tacoma, T100, and 4Runner of similar vintage. Unlike many imported diesel variants, this setup is straightforward to own and maintain while still delivering classic Toyota reliability. Seating for up to five passengers makes it practical for around town use, overland travel, or weekend adventures.
