This Prado is equipped with the 3RZ-FE 2.7L gasoline engine, a simple and proven powerplant known for its longevity, easy servicing, and parts availability in the U.S. Sharing many components and engine / transmission with Toyota Tacoma, T100, and 4Runner of similar vintage.
